The TIME5433 is a new member of the TIME543X series of Shore hardness testers, sharing the same appearance and basic functions as the rest of the series. It is fitted with an AM-type needle for testing thin samples in the ordinary hardness range, such as vulcanised rubber and plastic products. For ordinary-hardness samples less than 6mm thick, the TIME5433 Shore AM hardness tester is recommended.

The tester has a low spring force, and the indenter protrudes only 1.25mm. To keep the test process stable, testing should be carried out on the TIME5433FJ operation stand (available separately).
  • LVDT displacement sensor: accurate and able to work in harsh environments with humidity of 90% RH
  • OLED screen clearly shows the hardness value, with menu operation
  • Automatic zero-point calibration
  • Three working modes to suit different testing requirements: real-time, peak-value lock and timed lock. The lock modes help ensure consistent reading practice and reduce human reading errors
  • Peak-value lock mode automatically locks the peak hardness value
  • Timed lock mode: set a time from 1 to 60 seconds, and the tester automatically starts timing and locks the measured value
  • In the lock modes, upper and lower limits can be preset, with a prompt when readings fall outside them, which is convenient for batch testing. The tester can also calculate the average value and automatically remove gross errors
  • Stores 200 average lock values
  • Optional software transfers test data to a PC via USB in Microsoft Word or Excel format
  • Continuous working time of more than 24 hours
  • Voltage display with low-voltage prompt
  • Automatic shutdown, with adjustable settings
  • Optional TIME5433FJ operation stand for stable testing
