The TIME5430 Shore A hardness tester is the first new-generation digital durometer developed by Beijing TIME High Technology Ltd. It has the same exterior as the earlier TIME5420 durometer but an entirely different internal design, using a new LVDT displacement sensor and OLED screen. It also adds a USB interface, with optional PC software. The TIME5430 is suitable for measuring soft rubber, plastics, printer rollers and other elastomers.
  • LVDT displacement sensor: accurate and able to work in harsh environments
  • OLED screen clearly shows the hardness value, with menu operation
  • Automatic zero-point calibration
  • Three working modes to suit different testing requirements: real-time, peak-value lock and timed lock
  • Peak-value lock mode automatically locks the peak hardness value
  • Timed lock mode: set a time from 1 to 60 seconds, and the tester automatically starts timing and locks the measured value
  • In the lock modes, upper and lower limits can be preset, with a prompt when readings fall outside them, which is convenient for batch testing. The tester can also calculate the average value and automatically remove gross errors
  • Stores 200 average lock values
  • Optional software transfers test data to a PC via USB in Microsoft Word or Excel format

Operation stand Available separately. The operation handle applies force evenly to the sample, and the testing height can be adjusted for different sample thicknesses. Using the stand gives good measurement accuracy and repeatability with a constant measuring force, eliminating errors caused by inconsistent hand-applied force
