300mm Stainless Steel Woven Wire Test Sieves

300mm woven wire test sieves for particle size analysis of larger sample quantities, made to ISO 3310-1. Each sieve has a stainless steel woven wire screen with square apertures from 20 µm to 26.5 mm, mounted in a seamless AISI 304 stainless steel frame, 60mm deep. 200mm is the standard laboratory size, and 300mm frames are used when there is more material to sieve.

Every sieve is supplied with a certificate of compliance and a unique, traceable serial number.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I use a 300mm test sieve instead of a 200mm one?
200mm is the standard laboratory size. A 300mm sieve is used when there is a larger quantity of material to sieve.

Do 300mm test sieves come with a certificate?
Yes. Each sieve is supplied with a certificate of compliance and a unique, traceable serial number.

Will these sieves stack with other 300mm sieves, lids and receivers?
Yes. The skirted outside frame fits sieves, bottom pans and nesting pans of the same 300mm diameter.

What is the difference between a 300mm and a 12 inch test sieve?
300mm sieves have a 300mm frame. 12 inch sieves have a 305mm frame made to the US standard ASTM E11.

Can I get an aperture that isn’t listed?
Yes. Apertures larger than 26.5 mm are made to order, and other sizes can be quoted on request.
  • Seamless double frame: an inside and an outside frame, each drawn from a single piece of AISI 304 stainless steel with no seam
  • Rolled top edge: smooth, rounded rim for safe, comfortable handling
  • Sample-retaining hoop: the bottom of the inside frame forms a hoop that stops sample material escaping between the screen and the frame
  • Nesting skirt: the outside frame extends into a skirt that fits other 300mm sieves, bottom pans and nesting pans for stable stacking
  • Tensioned screen: woven wire screens are evenly tensioned; fine meshes are clamped between the two frames rather than soldered
  • Crevice-free: no gaps or crevices to trap sample material
