The Magnaflux Y-2 is an AC electromagnetic yoke for magnetic particle testing. It produces a strong AC magnetic field to reveal surface indications, and its ergonomic design helps operators work more productively with less arm and wrist fatigue.

Built for the rugged demands of field inspection, the Y-2 is lightweight with an ergonomic grip and trigger. The power cord is field-swappable and the trigger switch is isolated, so the yoke is easy to service, and a severed cord doesn't have to stop the job.

An optional super-bright LED attachment is available to illuminate the inspection area while the part is being magnetised.
