Russell Fraser Sales products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This covers manufacturing faults but doesn't extend to damage from misuse, improper installation, or general wear and tear.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for products in original, unused condition with all original packaging and accessories intact. Return freight costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or was incorrectly supplied. Items that have been used, installed, or modified are not eligible for return.

For warranty claims or return requests, contact us at sales@testingcore.com or call 09 558 3100.

Single crystal probes work with Cygnus gauges in Multiple-Echo mode, letting you take measurements through coatings without stripping them first. Which frequency you want depends on how thin the material is - lower frequencies punch through thicker coatings and corrosion, while higher frequencies suit thinner walls. The 2.25MHz 13mm probe is the standard choice for most jobs, but the range runs from a 5.0MHz 6mm probe for small diameter pipes and tubes up to a 2.25MHz 19mm probe for large, heavily corroded flat plate.

Where the surface is pitted or heavily corroded, twin crystal probes maintain signal better. Browse all ultrasonic thickness gauges
