Twin crystal probes pair with Cygnus gauges in Echo-Echo or Single-Echo mode and are built for measuring on heavily corroded metal. All four models - T2C, T5B, T5A and T7A - use stainless steel 304 construction with hard wear faces, and cover a spread of frequencies and tip sizes so you can match the probe to the surface you're inspecting, from small diameter pipes through to thin, heavily corroded plate.

For measurement on smooth or machined surfaces, single crystal probes give better resolution. For hot surfaces, use the high temperature probe.Ā
